Sidetracked-Yo Gabba Gabba Pillow

I haven't worked on my son's doll in a few days because my son was invited to birthday party. Being the kind of mom I am, I had to make a gift. I can't help myself. The birthday girl is a Yo Gabba Gabba fan so I decided to make a pillow for her featuring two of the characters.
I don't allow my son to watch much television so I really wasn't familiar with the program. I had to go to the website to do a little research. Very unique looking creatures! I picked two characters at random-Muno and Brobee.

The pillow is composed of a 24"x24" pillow insert. The green and red fabrics are fleece. The facial parts are made of felt and there is a red 20" zipper on the bottom.
I hope she likes it!

My Little Peanut

He is coming right along. He now has eyes and a mouth to go along with that cute little nose. I think he looks good! (A head only a mother would love!)

Skin So Smooth

I have just put the skin on the head (that really doesn't sound right). It came out better than I expected. It's very smooth and shows the shape of the head nicely (again, doesn't sound right). I just love the cute little nose.

I'M SO EXCITED

This is my 1st posting on my blog. Yea me! I have wanted to start a blog for a while but didn't feel confident enough to try. I'm not very tech savvy so the idea of it has been intimidating. My husband has been very encouraging and has said it would be a great outlet for me, so here I am. I decided to craft a cloth doll for my son-my husband suggested I blog it.
I will post photos of my progress. I don't know how long it will take to make but I'm going to have fun with it all and not stress. So if you see some mistakes with my posting, forgive me-I'm a newbie.:-)

The photos reflect the beginnings of a doll head.
